Polycon 60C has the physical properties of a very tough, nylon like plastic that melts to a putty-like consistency at only 60°C.

Polycon 60C’s specific heat and conductivity are low enough to handle with ease at this temperature, with little or no protection. This makes it ideal for small-scale modeling, part fabrication, repair of plastic objects and rapid prototyping where heat resistance is not needed.

Though molten Polycon 60C readily sticks to many other plastics, if the surface is cooled the stickiness can be minimized while still leaving the mass pliable. Robot builders, engineers and hobbyists save time and money using Polycon 60C

Polycon 60C can be used over and over again simply by heating.
The easiest way to melt Polycon 60C is in hot water but a microwave can also be used with care.

Molded parts can be easily modified with a small flame, hot air blower and forming tools heated in hot water.
Polycon 60C can be coloured by colouring the beads with permanent marker prior to heating, then simply knead until the colour is consistent.
